We mentioned earlier in the year where we organized Jimmy Greaves to attend a birthday event. We were delighted this year for a certain gentlemen’s 50^th birthday to organize his boyhood hero Trevor Frances to join him at a private dinner in Birmingham. The birthday boy, who I understand to be very chatty was actually dumb struck and wrote to us later, saying he acted just like a little boy drooling over his hero. Trevor managed to fine a replica of one of the shirts that he wore in his playing days which he presented to the birthday boy.

If you have a member of your family or a friend where you are struggling thinking about a present, why not a number of you get together all put in some money and then get the birthday person’s idol to come and visit and make the particular persons lunch/birthday celebration an event to be remembered for the rest of their lives.
