Matt Le Tissier (born 14/10/1968) played for Southampton FC and England. An attacking midfielder blessed with exceptional technical skills, Le Tissier is the second-highest ever scorer for Southampton behind Mick Channon. He was also the first midfielder to score 100 goals in the Premier League. He was also notable for his incredible record at scoring penalties, considered by many to be the greatest penalty taker in the history of the game.
Le Tissier made 444 appearances and scored 162 goals for Southampton over his 14 year outstanding career with the club.
More recently, Le Tissier works as a pundit for Sky Sports Soccer Saturday and in June 2009 he made his debut as the guest on Channel 4 programme Countdown.
