Garry Brooke started his career at Tottenham Hotspur in 1977 and whilst at White Hart Lane won FA Cup and UEFA Cup medals. He is the only player to appear as a substitute in three FA Cup finals. To his credit he managed to score 15 league goals in those 73 appearances. Garry joined Norwich in May 1985 where he notched up 20 appearances. He then moved to Dutch side Groningen and fifteen months later he returned to England to join Wimbledon, making 12 appearances. A loan spell at Stoke preceded a transfer to Brentford in August 1990 before joining Reading in 1991.
