Chris is renowned for his great humour as a full-time after dinner speaker, and also specializes in teaching public speaking and leadership skills.

Summary
Chris was made captain of Kent from 1985-1990 and he was appointed captain of England in 1988. The following year, he was awarded a testimonial match for his services to cricket.

Off the field, Chris has written two cricket books, including an autobiography entitled “Good Enough?” in 1986.

After the conclusion of Chris's successful playing career he joined BBC's cricket broadcasting team on “Test Match Special” before becoming the lead presenter and commentator for Talksport Radio, and is now a regular summariser on Sky Television.
